What is tarık buğra?

Tarık Buğra (1918–1994) was a Turkish writer and journalist. He was born in Istanbul and received a degree in law from Istanbul University in 1940. However, he decided to pursue a career in journalism and literature instead.

Buğra's career as a journalist began in 1943 when he started writing for the newspaper Vatan. He also contributed to other newspapers such as Milliyet, Cumhuriyet, and Yeni İstanbul.

In addition to journalism, Buğra was a prolific writer of novels, short stories, and plays. His most famous work is the novel "The House of the Seven Gables", which was published in 1949. The novel follows the story of a family in Istanbul during the Turkish War of Independence.
